Pierre seems like he does a good job during the actual inspections from the other reviews, but seems very disorganized and couldn't locate his insurance information for our builder and was not confident when he could over multiple days. We ended up cancelling as our builder requires a review with their safety team of the inspector's liability policy before giving access to the property.Update:Changing my review to 1 star for the disingenuous response.Pierre texted a screenshot of a single page certificate of insurance after I had cancelled and after he had ignored my text asking about it for over 4 hours. This is not the liability policy information that the builder wanted to review as it does not provide specific details of the liability policy coverage he has when performing an inspection. The only information provided was the dollar amounts of the liability coverage, which is not sufficient information.

Pierre is very meticulous and detail oriented. He made a very detailed report giving us great tips for items to look after even when they weren't in a need to repair.Price wise was a little bit over other quotes, but totally worth it, when you are buying a house, $20 more or less won't do a difference...but an important issue undetected will ad at least a couple of zeros.Very friendly and professional, 100% recommended.

Pierre was very friendly and matter-of-fact. He worked hard for a solid 4 hours and took the time to explain what he was doing. The report was full of details and pictures. He highlighted what was urgent and used another color for the maintenance that needed attention but could wait. He's very knowledgable and taught me a lot on that morning. He also speaks fluent French for those francophone who struggle in English :)His inspection document was very user friendly.He's incredible detailed and caring about giving you a full understanding of what you're buying. I 100% recommend him. My parents paid for an inspector that didn't bother checking the roof or the attic because ''he didn't find it''. Pierre will scan the devil out of every corner of your property and show you where potential mold would accumulate, where the birds are chipping at the stucco, how long the roof has, which plumbing need love, where the walls aren't well insulated,etc.... Its well-worth documentation that will be very helpful down the line.Merci beaucoup Pierre!

We had a very poor inspection done.We bought UNSEEN from BC.We got here out home needed 70 k worth of work.Half of the work was not listed on the final report.Things like sump pump not working.Siding falling off, and framing was exposed, and the roof needed to be changed.We paid 306. Had to put 70 k into. The home as soon as we got here.Half the things that needed fixing were missed on the report.

Can't say enough about this company. Pierre came highly recommended by my realtor. Sellers needed to sell quick so we were on a tight timeline to get an inspection done. Booked Pierre on Fri, he was avail Tues, spent 3.5 hours at a 1,350 sq/ft townhome and provided me a 52-page report on the same day! For those who have never seen an inspection report, Pierre's format was easy to follow. Items in red meant action now, blue was the next level, black font was the final, low level. Pictures were provided too to help add context to each issue. Added bonus: he uses a drone to check the roof!! Some inspectors charge extra to do the exterior/roofing area. Overall, super happy with his analysis, report, and attention to detail. Thanks Pierre!

Pierre was great - he has inspected 2 homes for me. The first one he actually recommended we stop the inspection due to structural deficiencies. He did this only to save me money - he felt that I needed a structural engineer rather than having him complete the inspection. For the second home he provided a very detailed report, reviewed it when he was on site and then followed up with a phone call to review any questions/concerns. I am not easily impressed and I was very impressed with Pierre.

Today, Pierre and Brendan performed the 2nd inspection I have contracted them to complete. After the 1st inspection I had them do and getting a chance to speak with them during that experience, I was convinced that this is the team I wanted for any future inspections. Fast forward a few months to now - my wife and I are looking to purchase another property and these guys just performed the inspection today on this property for us. Much as I expected and as before, they were punctual (early, in fact), polite, cordial and thorough. I have significant faith in their abilities to inspect, their understanding of construction materials and techniques as well as their ability to explain things. Water leaks appeared on our ceiling so we called a plumber. They warned they'd be drilling holes all over the place to find the source (those repairs would be on us to fix, of course) because they didn't have the tools to provide a non-invasive diagnosis.This is when we decided to ask a home inspector if they could detect the source without creating a big mess.EXCELLENT DECISION!Pierre showed us exactly what the problem was and we were able to repair it ourselves.So, our advice, before you call the plumber, remember that knowledge is power - once you’ve discovered the problem, for an extremely reasonable price, you can decide what action to take.Also, Pierre has comprehensive home repair knowledge and could answer all our questions re: the best repair route. Truly, money well spent.

My wife and I are first time home buyers and were looking to buy a home built in the late 50s. I talked to Pierre and along with our inspection he suggested we get a sewer inspection as well as regular home inspection. Pierre goes over everything on-site with you and makes note of anything that needs immediate attention. Pierre was wonderful to work with and very knowledgeable! He did a thorough and detailed inspection of our home and was able to identify areas of improvement and provided information on how to go about fixing them.If you are like me and find home improvement stuff somewhat overwhelming or intimidating I recommend Pierre as you'll really appreciate the photo references and detailed information he provides regarding the next steps you can take to make repairs or improvements. His inspection report was very informative, helpful and easy to understand.I found the online format user friendly as well. Excellent inspection with much more insight than what we are used to. My wife and I are moving to town from Ontario and we have owned multiple homes there and each one we had an inspection completed on them. As a conscious home owner who follows the inspectors around and asked many questions, Pierre took the time to explain everything required so I understood Alberta codes and important issues in our new community. He is willing to return in the spring to go over the areas he could not in the extreme cold. We feel very confident that we received value for the important information on our new purchase. Loved working with Pierre. He's professional, thorough, super friendly and easy to communicate with. The inspection was incredibly thorough and he took the time to explain his findings and answer all our questions after the inspection. The report itself is really easy to read and navigate and includes pictures of the various findings with detailed explanations on how to correct the issues found. We had to reschedule our inspection last minute due to a scheduling error on our part and he moved mountains in order to accommodate us as we were on a super tight schedule to close. Pierre is extremely thorough. The one piece of feedback I'd give is be more realistic up front about length of time (5h vs 3h) and that because it took long, we felt rushed in the walk-through at the end. However I want to be clear that it's perfectly ok to me that it took that long. I'd rather an inspector be thorough and catch everything VS quick and miss some items. PS. I would recommend the sewer scope to others - it saved us big time.
