3. Fire Barrier Concerns

In some cases, we’ve seen 2x4s that were previously used for forming concrete now being used as part of the home’s framing. This wood may have residue from release agents or even diesel fuel, which can result in off-gassing and other indoor air quality concerns.

8. Missing or Improper Roof Components

Lastly, we’ve seen instances of missing or improperly installed roof components, such as dryer vent flashing. While this might seem minor, it can allow water to leak into the home, causing significant damage if left unresolved.
