Additional Inspection Services
Pre-Listing Inspection
It’s not generally recommended to list a home without first becoming familiarized with the strengths and weaknesses of the property’s existing condition. We’ll conduct this inspection service before you show the home, providing you with a full overview of any deficiencies we discover so that you have a chance to make improvements or take other action before you begin negotiations with a prospective buyer.
New Construction Inspection
We’ll perform a New Construction Inspection before the builder is scheduled for a final walkthrough. By thoroughly evaluating the property’s construction at this time, we’ll be able to notify you about potential defects that you can try to have corrected before the real estate transaction is finalized.
New Construction Phase Inspections
This inspection service is a proven way to ensure that your newly constructed home is in good condition. We can perform the inspection at multiple phases of construction on the home, identifying issues before they become bigger problems—and at a time when they can be more easily resolved.
Sewer Line Inspections
A Sewer Scope helps us determine the overall condition of a home’s sewer lateral. We’ll scope the sewer lines with a Snake RM 200 with camera, allowing us to diagnose potential damage or obstructions in the lines that may need to be addressed before the sewer system can function properly.
Re-inspections
Re-inspections are an asset to prospective home-buyers, providing the extra reassurance that is needed to confidently close on a final purchase. After defective components that we discovered in our original inspection have been repaired or replaced, we’ll return to the property to confirm that the defects no longer exist and that the home is now in good order.
11th Month Warranty Inspection
Most newly constructed homes are protected by a 1-year warranty that is issued by the company responsible for the build. Before that warranty expires, we’ll meticulously assess the home’s condition in an effort to diagnose potential issues that will need repaired. If these issues are included under the warranty agreement, you’ll be able to have repairs made without paying for them entirely out of pocket.
Radon Testing
A naturally-occuring gas, radon is nonetheless an incredibly dangerous compound—one that is linked to serious ailments such as lung cancer when long-term exposure occurs. This inspection service is offered to help prospective home-buyers gain peace of mind by measuring the radon levels inside of a building. If the concentration of radon exceeds a certain threshold, radon mitigation may be recommended.
